We took a test on subtraction last Friday and most did pretty well. Our next unit will be time. We will couple this with our unit on money. We have used money all year with Will-Mart so this should go smoothly. One way to help your child with time is to show what time it is whenver you see an analog clock. Also ask your child what time it is, how long until they go to practice, eat dinner, go to grandma’s, etc.
For money, have them count change whenever you have it. Ask them to count out how much money they need to buy something… even looking at the grocery receipt and couting out different amounts of money. Any contact with money will help.
